I climb the four peaks crag
And lightning storms to the south ring
The devils own forked tongue
Whispering secrets to the snakes in the plains

And on the mountain, rainbows and waterfalls
testify to the recent calm of the heartbeat
A curious creature comes round the lazy path up
Looking for plump purple berry bushes

Ripping my steady gaze off the Four Peaks
I find one myself, the love grips my tongue
And turning back to the path- descend
To get paper for drawing a map and sketch of the peaks
with berries as big as your head

Good one, Vic... reminds me of Gary Snyder.
