The Rivers of Eon flows towards Metropolis,
to feed it's aqueducts of Nature and Industry-
springing fountains to cascade brilliantly
in Markets and Man, civilizations last stand.

We stand on a bridge of rainbows on a path through
an orchard that brings gladness from ripe apples
Yonder is Hawking Market wherein robots sell their latest,
and further on the return path to the beginning.

We tarry watching the River Eon to spy on goldfish and cat-tails
that grow wild like a sideways witch-
The bridge takes but only a moment, but saves an eternity
walking around to the end near the aqueduct intakes,
so we continue to pause under immense apple trees
that stand even to the mightiest oak in the wilds beyond
Metropolis' gated walls. A few warbles from a wren nearby
make the magical bridge glow a wavering green to pulsate
to it's soliloquy.

My heart full, my friend and I continue to the other bank wild
with witchy cat-tails and bulrush onto a narrow but well-trod path amidst,
and out into the orchard. We walk to the sound of a heavy apples
planting themselves and ten-thousand deer scattering the seeds.

Feet-sore, we come to the Hawking Marketplace
to be pressed back by glare of a thousand billboards and infomercials.
A million lights blink and hum overhead as people come and go
among the billboards and robotic vending machines and carnival rides set
up.
Quickly ducking into a movie theater, we wait in line and buy a ticket
to a romantic comedy of errors, The Lady of Mazes. At the end, a lottery
number pops up on the silver screen and Talana, my friend, wins ownership
in a central vending machine which means both work and money.

Leaving the movie, we decide to go program the business method of it.
Talana babbles on about her good-luck on the way and I comment how
awesome it is
to be in one of the chrome sections of Hawking Market by the main path.
Approaching it, it recognizes Talanas wrist bracelet ID shes holding out.
“Root Access” blinks in red from the front panel;
Talana quickly uploads her AI from a small memory stick.
Weeks later she'll be able to buy another hydraulic dynamo
to run another vending machine.
Talana is lucky she got a break-in product
that will seed itself like a stellar big-bang.
I return home to drink a beer and sew up the tears
in my torn retina.

I was kind of hoping for the 'hi, i know yer mother' approach
here, but whatever.

fastar doesn't have time for that shit. He's getting his
mojo on here. Try to look at the grammatical errors
as pieces of the puzzle or parts of the painting...kind
of like a Pollack or something...it adds to the abstraction
or general withdrawal from the mentality of painfully normal aholes
like
yerself. See?

...of course not.
